research fellow in functional genomics: The Biomedical
Cybernetics Laboratory at the Harvard Partners Center for Genetics
and Genomics seeks a postdoctoral researcher to lead a cutting
edge project in functional genomics funded by the National Human
Genome Research Institute of the National Institutes of Health
(NHGRI/NIH). A PhD in computer science, statistics, or engineering
is required, together with a strong background in signal processing,
information theory or stochastic processes. Experience with the
analysis of genetic and genomic systems preferred. Strong programming
skills and the ability to work independently required. The successful
candidate will have a joint appointment at Children's Hospital
Boston and Harvard Medical School, and the opportunity to supervise
graduate and undergraduate students from Harvard Medical School
and MIT.

research coordinator: The Biomedical Cybernetics Laboratory
at the Harvard Partners Center for Genetics and Genomics seeks
a research coordinator with SAS proficiency. In this position,
you would be responsible for assisting the PI regarding lab-related
operations issues. The data handling responsibilities will include
cleaning data and transforming data in various formats into SAS,
as well as generating analyses, reports, and graphs. You must
be able to effectively manage deadlines and critical milestones
on assigned projects. In addition to working in a dynamic and
intellectually stimulating environment, you would be eligible
